1. What's the last vivid dream that you remember having?
I remember this really short dream I had about two or three weeks ago. My mom and I were in her car and out of the blue she calls me something along the lines of a "skank." Then I commented on her screwed up bleached hair (which she really does have) and said, "Look at this hair! YOU are the skank here!" I think that was about it. I think in the dream when I said that, I got some pleasure out of it.

2. Do you have any recurring dreams?
No.

3. What's the scariest nightmare you've ever had?
Does everyone know my lame obsession with Weezer? Well now it's out in the open. (You: Point at computer and laugh) I had this really demented dream about them. It started out with my aunt and I going into the Gap and some asian lady at the counter said, "Hi Jacquie, this is the third time this week you've been in here." I said hi, and looked around and didn't find anything I liked. Note: I don't even go to the Gap, so this was part of the weirdness. There was a tv in the store, and the news was on. The news was doing a report about how Weezer was going to get executed, and they were talking to Rivers Cuomo who seemed very low-key about the whole issue. This whole news report shocked me, and I ran out of the door determined to find Weezer. Next thing I know, I'm behind the band going up a winding metal staircase. For their "death penalty", they had to go inside a slaughter machine. I stood at the other end, and a bloody chunk of a person flew in the air towards me, then fell to the metal floor and slid. Then, I looked over, and a beheaded body was sticking out of the machine, and it was dressed in a white shirt and a black tie, pants, and shoes. The meachine then sucked it back in, and the dream ended. Freaky...

4. Have you ever written your dreams down or considered it? Why or why not?
I did that for about a week, then I stopped. I should right them down though, because I have wild ones all of the time.

5. Have you ever had a lucid dream? What did you do in it?
No.

Friday Five is here- y'all should do it, too.

1. What's the last vivid dream that you remember having?
If by "vivid" you mean tangible enough to remember having, I believe it was some strange thing where Mitch broke up with Becky and immediately came to me and asked to be more than friends, after which we started making out. I'd like to point out that this is one time when a dream doesn't nessecarily indicate real-life desires.
2. Do you have any recurring dreams?
I used to have two, but they only come around once every few years now, not for a while- in one, I was still in elementary school and I got pissed off and swore a lot at one of the teachers, and then I went and stayed in this little mini-teepee that was on the playground, and I wouldn't come out. I remember feeling upset in the Teepee that I couldn't take it back. Another one I had was that I woke up from bed, and I tried to go downstairs, but when I got to the top of the staircase, there was a totem pole sitting there, and I couldn't go past the totem pole without getting zapped into marioland. Hypothetically, had I been able to win the game, I might have returned home...but I was very bad at that game. Still am.

I also have recurring themes in my dreams- bathrooms or locker rooms that are huge, and I get lost in them, or not being prepared for some big event, or having large bugs and other vermin crawling around me bed. Those are the only two notable ones.

3. What's the scariest nightmare you've ever had?
Had this dream the other day that I was at some sort of sprting event with my mother, on bleachers and everything outside, and I looked into the sky and saw this helicopter with a pin-sized red light in it, and I didn't think
much of it until a bullet struck the wood next to me, then another. My mother and I didn't think to leave until one shot me through the back of the neck. When that happened, I thought I was dying, so I told her I loved her, then she dragged me to the car and drove me home. We didn't go to a hospital- planned to the next day, apparently- but I didn't end up dying. Instead we all went to bed. It was about midnight, in the dream, when I got up to get some water. I got up and started wondering why my father hadn't gotten home from work yet. When I was in the kitchen, the stove was on- I turned it off, but realized someone had turned it on trying to burn down my house- getting shot wasn't an accident. Someone was trying to kill me. It was then that I realized that no one I loved was safe.

I turned around then and saw that my father's truck was parked in the middle of my kitchen. In the bed, there was something, covered up. I walked over to the bed, slowly, and lifted the tarp- underneath, my father, dead. Except he didn't look like my dad, he just was- he looked like- not shitting you- Ben. (This answers the question that so many have asked me over the ages- Who's my daddy? Ben's my daddy!)

That was pretty recent....maybe not the scariest, but defintely up there.

4. Have you ever written your dreams down or considered it? Why or why not?
Not really. Too lazy. Sometimes I'll record them in my journal, but only if they're really notable, and I feel like it.

5. Have you ever had a lucid dream? What did you do in it?
Nah, but my darling Greg has got me convinced I need to start trying to...because of some movie he highly recommends called "Waking Life". Apparently, I need to see that.

Alright, time for everyone else's answers.
